Horizon Hosts Financial Reality Fair

Horizon hosted a Financial Reality Fair on December 7 at Muncy HS. Juniors and Seniors selected an occupation, and were provided a budget sheet with their monthly net pay based on first-year salary. During the fair, students visited different booths to make financial decisions regarding everyday expenses such as housing, food, cell phone, transportation, entertainment, and more. At the end of the day, students met with a financial consultant who reviewed their choices and calculated to see if they were able to stay within budget.
